New Studio. Update!!!

For the past month and a half I’ve been moving my studio to a new location closer to home. I had been working out of the Coachella Valley Art Center in Indio for the past several years but sadly that location has come to an end in its current state. I have nothing but good things to say about the center and director Bill Schinsky who provided an environment that made it possible for artists to explore, experiment and develop their work. The center came into my life at a time when I was still working a regular job and it gave me the opportunity to pick up where I had left off at the UCSD Crafts Center. I was able to progress in my art journey using the tools available in the CVAC glass studio and also to present work in the gallery. While I was sad to see CVAC go, I realized that this was the perfect time for me to pursue a location that didn’t require a 28 mile drive one way given the current state of gas prices.

I’ve been living in Desert Hot Springs full time since 2018. In that time we have seen the city blossom as people are discovering its natural beauty, views and of course the hot water available for soaking at the many spas located here. Desert Hot Springs is a gateway to Joshua Tree National Park and minutes away from Palm Springs and Other Desert Cities. My hope is that more creatives and entrepreneurs will give Desert Hot Springs another look as the city moves into the future.

My new studio is located at 11924 Palm Drive Suite B, in Desert Hot Springs, CA 92240 I plan to be open Thursdays-Sundays 11 am-5 pm and on Fridays 11 am-8 pm during the Friday Night Street Fair on Pierson.
